Today in Ocean City, Maryland with the family on vacation it was a hazy, rainy day. Not the greatest of beach days at all. So what do you do? Listen to your very smart Daddy and drive to Delaware to hit the outlet malls. We had a great time shopping with the rest of country that had the same bright idea. Next time we hit the outlet malls on a nice, sunny day.

If I was selling a product and I was the inventor, founder, and CEO of the company I think I would hire a professional to handle the marketing video. This guy definitely didn't do that, but The Nutty Buddy is still funny to watch.
If you do end up buying one, make sure you tell everyone that you got the "El Jefe"!
We have a nice Canon Powershot SD550. It is barely a year old and we have taken thousands and thousands of pictures with it. One of the kids slammed it on a table on our last vacation and the LCD stopped working.
Sending it back to Canon for repair yielded a $127 repair bill. A new camera (same model) costs about $320. What do you do? What is the cutoff for just saying screw it and buying a new one?
For us, we struggled over it for a long time and decided to just fix it. If the problem was caused by a defect I would have a hard time paying to have it repaired, but since it was caused by my break everything we touch children it made sense to just pay it.
My son and I went shoe shopping today.

While we were at the store they had this wicked poster of a new Nike Air shoe:
Nike is keeping the lid on these shoes until their official unveiling on the 21st of January. Every Nike Air shoe to this point has had a small piece of foam right in the middle of the sole to support the arch of the foot. This is the first Nike Air shoe to have nothing but Air on the bottom. No more foam. They claim it is revolutionary. I'm not sure I believe them but I think I'm going to find out for myself!
When you have little children you just never know what is going to come out of their mouths. While watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition last night with our 6 year old, he said "Mommy, I really want to go away so when we are gone somebody can fix up our house." What do you say to that?
Well you do what any good parent would do. You try to explain the concept of the show. How they pick disadvantaged families and that the odds of that happening to us are pretty low. Problem solved...right? Try again.
"Mommy, I wish our house would explode so they can rebuild it." Back to square one.

Welcome to my blog. I've been reading blogs and feeds for what seems like years now and since the first time I loaded a desktop aggregator I've been saying this is cool and I want to start my own blog. It took me long enough, but I've finally started.
I really don't know how some of these religious bloggers find time to post. They either don't have a family, or they do have a family and are just ignoring them, or they do it on their company time at work, or they are vampires and stay up all night. I fall in to that last category. If you ever want to talk to someone at 1am, I'm your man!
